The Stunning Mediterranean Coast and Beautiful Switzerland

Hi! Tomorrow I am leaving Kansas for the first day of my two-week trip across the beautiful Mediterranean Coast and picturesque Switzerland with EF Tours! Here is what I am doing to prepare:

Downloads

• I have multiple flights and hours’ worth of layovers; to prepare for the impending boredom, I’ve downloaded some movies, shows, and books to help! For tv-shows and films, I downloaded some of the following from Netflix: From Me to You, The Breakfast Club, Mean Girls, and Pitch Perfect. For books, I have Heart Bones by Colleen Hoover, The Love That Split the World by Emily Henry, Love & Other Words by Christina Lauren, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson, three books by Tahereh Mafi, two books by Tessa Bailey, and Sophie Go’s Lonely Hearts Club by Roselle Lim. These books are from Libby, a free app that connects to local libraries.

Packing

• I prepared for my trip by planning my outfits for each day. I did this by utilizing the itinerary and the weather app for each day and location. I then took pictures of the outfits to remember what I should wear there. I also bought some last-minute stuff to pack, such as snacks for my carry-on, smaller-sized toiletries, and a large crossbody bag.

Pinterest

• Although I did this a while ago, the best thing I did to prepare for this trip was make a Pinterest board! I will link it at the end. I looked at the itinerary and put images of every location on the list. This helped me get hyped for my trip and have a relative idea of what I will see. This also allowed me to show other people where I am going. Having a general idea made me more eager for this trip.
